I find his use and control over his medium to be refreshing. At times, it looks like there maybe a reliance on chance and hope, but there is a method to his madness. He arranged the piece before it was introduced to that allowance of spontaneity and even then he limits it. His paintings are very abstaracted, just looking is hard to do. With his sculptures, The viewer is engaged by their familiarity of the object he manipulates. These pieces consist of chairs, money, locks, books and some other items.
